Reader Electric is a growing, locally owned electrical contractor based in Tyrone, PA. Steady local work, fair pay, no games. We do panel upgrades, new circuits, EV chargers, generators, lighting, troubleshooting and service calls for homeowners and small businesses across Blair County and Central PA, and we are building out our HVAC side alongside it. We are hiring electricians at two levels. If you have been wiring panels for years, bring that. If you are early in the trade and reliable, hardworking and eager to learn, we will teach you the right way. What you will do

• Install and upgrade residential service panels and meters
• Run new circuits and wire outlets, switches and lighting
• Install EV chargers and standby generators
• Troubleshoot and repair on service calls
• Keep job sites clean and treat every home like your own
• Talk to customers straight and show up when you say you will What we are looking for
• Hands-on electrical experience, residential preferred (experienced role), or a strong work ethic and willingness to learn (aspiring role)
• Working knowledge of the NEC and safe practices (experienced role)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Own hand tools (experienced role)
• Able to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders and in attics and crawlspaces
• Legal authorization to work in the US Benefits discussed at interview.
