Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (occasional overtime required)PayScale:
Competitive! (high end of industry standards) Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair electrical systems, equipment, conveyors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), transformers, voltage regulators, motors, machinery wiring, and other production equipment. Install new machinery and equipment by running power supply wiring, conduit, and electrical connections using hand tools and testing equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions by inspecting and testing equipment, identifying faulty wiring, troubleshooting PLCs, and restoring equipment to proper operation. Read and interpret electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Maintain inventory of electrical components, replacement parts, and maintenance supplies by monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment. Use maintenance resources efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Provide technical support and respond to electrical maintenance requests throughout the facility. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all company safety policies and applicable electrical codes. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Must have previous Industrial Electrician experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and equipment. Experience troubleshooting PLCs and I/O systems. Basic PLC programming experience is required. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Experience diagnosing and repairing motors, transformers, lighting systems, conveyors, and industrial machinery. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand and power tools. Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and applicable codes. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
