What they do
An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

DAY SHIFT
position with a Monday - Friday work schedule. The expected normal schedule for the position is 7:00am - 3:00pm EST. However, must be willing to work weekends, shifts, holidays, and overtime if needed.- Opportunities for

To learn more about our Building Products division, please visit www.buildgp.com . What You Will Do- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and circuits
- Maintain, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Maintain and troubleshoot circuits and components on pneumatic systems, control devices, and hydraulic equipment
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and install equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- One or more of the following:
- Associate/Technical degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Instrumentation, or Electronic Technology
- A minimum of two or more years of Electrical/Electronic/Controls troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience installing, examining, replacing, or repairing Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and motor controllers
- Experience with running conduit and installing electrical infrastructure to code
- Experience using Programmable Logic Controls (PL.
