Electrician Job Description We are seeking a licensed, experienced Electrician to support residential and light commercial generator installations. This role focuses on the electrical scope of generator projects while overseeing installation assignments, reviewing completed work, and handling related administrative tasks. The Electrician will work closely with installation crews, stepping in for complex electrical work while crew members complete the majority of the physical installation. Responsibilities Perform electrical work related to standby generator installations, including swapping and reconfiguring circuits in disconnects, electrical tie-ins, and final connections. Ensure all electrical work meets code and safety standards. Assign generator installation jobs to field crews and review completed jobs for accuracy and code compliance. Order and manage materials required for installations. Provide technical guidance to installation crews as needed. Handle administrative duties related to job review and scheduling from the office. Serve as the primary licensed electrician on staff for required electrical tasks. Essential Skills Licensed electrician with strong knowledge of electrical disconnects, circuits, and transfer switches. Ability to review work for quality and code compliance. Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with administrative responsibilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience running conduit, PVC, Rigid, Pipe, pulling wire, cable tray, blueprints, etc. Must provide own basic electrical tools and voltmeter. Why Work Here?
