PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading complex controls, low to medium voltage electrical distribution systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Use computers, PLC's, voltage meters and current meters to troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and control systems Utilize information obtained from engineering drawings, electrical schematics and diagrams, simple and complex sketches, other related documents, and verbal field instructions needed to perform assigned duties Perform work tasks from SAP generated work descriptions and orders Complete accurate records and reports as needed in SAP plant maintenance module and Fiori Willing to support general Operations and Maintenance functions outside of Electrical responsibilities Willing and able to work when called outside of regular working hours for Operations and Maintenance support
JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years or older Must be able to read, write, and speak English Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US Must be drug free 4 years electrical/electronic/instrumentation experience in industrial/manufacturing environment. Combination of college and experience will be considered Stand for extended and prolonged periods of time. Climb and work from ladders, both portable and fixed Climb stairs
PREFERREDEXPERIENCE
Two years Associate degree in electrical or Electronic Systems Technology is preferred but not required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledgeable and skilled in 3-phase AC motors and motor control centers (MCCs), power distribution systems (to 25.5 kV AC), Servo drive systems, Allen-Bradley PLCs and Rockwell VFDs Able to install electrical panels, conduit and wiring per local, state and federal safety codes Able to read technical diagrams and schematics General knowledge of Microsoft office suite
