100% Company-Paid Benefits Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Columbia, SC. This position is designed for a highly skilled electrical professional who can independently install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems while consistently delivering safe, code-compliant, high-quality work. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial and/or industrial electrical experience, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to take ownership of projects in the field. We are looking for someone who understands the trade, can solve problems independently, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time. Key Responsibilities Independently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems Diagnose complex electrical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions Install and service electrical panels, breakers, transformers, disconnects, lighting systems, controls, and related equipment Perform conduit layout, bending, installation, wire pulling, terminations, and equipment connections Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and project specifications Perform electrical testing using meters and diagnostic equipment Ensure installations meet NEC requirements and all applicable local, state, and federal codes Identify electrical and safety hazards and take appropriate corrective action Coordinate work with project managers, supervisors, customers, and other trades Provide guidance and technical support to apprentices and less-experienced electricians when needed Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, materials, and service activities Follow all company and OSHA safety standards while maintaining a professional job site Qualifications 5+ years of professional electrical experience , preferably within commercial and/or industrial environments Journeyman-level electrical knowledge and demonstrated ability to work independently Advanced electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Experience with electrical distribution systems, panels, transformers, conduit, controls, and related equipment Ability to read and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Strong conduit bending, wiring, termination, and installation skills Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and in varying job-site conditions Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
