Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Electrician / Multi-craft Maintenance technician to join our dynamic team. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately perform wiring and system setups. Conduct diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify electrical faults and implement effective solutions. Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations. Execute electrical wiring tasks during renovation projects or new construction sites, adhering to local electrical codes and safety procedures. Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete installation, maintenance, and repair tasks efficiently. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrical systems, and high-voltage circuits to minimize downtime. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately for installation and repair purposes. Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring, low voltage systems, and industrial electrical systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools essential for troubleshooting. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures combined with practical experience in adhering to safety standards at all times. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and power equipment necessary for electrical and maintenance work. Additional handyman skills such as framing carpentry or general maintenance are considered advantageous but not mandatory.
