Skills:
As a Facilities Mechanic- Industrial Controls Tech, you will use your strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems to troubleshoot and repair industrial control systems. You will also use your problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and address issues with control systems in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, you will use your ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to perform routine maintenance on industrial control systems. Your experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, HVAC systems, building automation systems, and CMMS software will also be valuable in this role.
What You Will Do:
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial control systems (PLC, HMI, AC/DC/Servo drives)
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize system performance
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure safety compliance
  • Diagnose electrical systems using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and logic tools
  • Support minor mechanical repairs, welding, and fabrication
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for layout and system improvements
What You Will Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial controls maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HVAC and building automation systems
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of 5S, CMMS, Microsoft Office, and metric system
Bonus:
Experience with Mitsubishi controllers, compressed air, vacuum, and chilled water systems
