An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
Description of Tasks:
Diagnose and Repair:
Troubleshoot and repair commercial electrical systems, ensuring safety and functionality.Install and Maintain:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, lighting, and fixtures in commercial settings.System Maintenance:
Perform inspections and corrective maintenance on circuit breakers, transformers, and electrical panels.Code Compliance:
Follow national electrical codes and state/local regulations for all work.Documentation:
Track repairs, installations, and maintenance in trade softwareCustomer Engagement:
Communicate with clients, explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide informed system performance advice.Position Requirements:
Education/Experience:
Minimum high school diploma/GED and two years of experience in the electrical field Certifications, Licenses, etc.:Journeyman Electrical Certificate Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation. Must have a good understanding of the National Electric Codes. High standard of integrity and professionalism. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations of workplace safety.
