Job Description
Job Overview Copper Core Electric is a small residential electrical company that provides electrical services for new and existing residential customers throughout the Summerville. Moncks Corner and Charleston areas. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician. In this role, you will support a licensed electrician in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems by performing rough-ins, trim-outs and other various electrical projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical principles and be comfortable working with both individual customers and on construction sites. Job Description Assist with installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and components by performing tasks under the direction of a license electrician. Ability to follow instructions and have a basic understanding of electrical systems. Have knowledge of both the rough-in and trim-out processes. Must be able to install lighting, electrical outlets and circuit breakers. Must know how to thread conduit ends and connect couplings and conduit fittings with wrench. Must have experience with pulling wires through conduit leading to connection boxes, switch panels and other terminals. Must be able to use tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, wire strippers, power drills and electrical meters. Must be able to replace faulty circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components or wire. Must be able to hook up appliances for power and install new lighting and ceiling fans. Ability to work independently and have valid driver's license. Must be able to communicate with the customer if necessary and represent the company in a professional manner. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving. Must be organized and practice good housekeeping at all times. Must be able to carry tools and materials to and from jobsites. Maintaining safe work environment at all times. Must be able to work on a construction worksite and be able to stand for long periods of time, crawl, climb, twist, pull and carry up to 25-50lbs.
