We perform residential/commercial service, and residential/commercial new construction. We take pride in quality workmanship, reliability, and providing a great experience for our customers. We're looking for a dependable Residential Electrician who has solid residential experience, works well with a team, communicates professionally with customers, and is ready to learn and grow into more independent work. We need someone who:

Shows up on time and ready to work Listens to instructions and works well with the team Takes responsibility for their work Can be counted on to follow through Treats customers and their homes with respect Communicates professionally Has the electrical knowledge to get the job done correctly Is willing to learn and grow into working independently Responsibilities Perform residential electrical service and new construction work Assist with commercial electrical projects as needed Install and troubleshoot residential electrical wiring, circuits, devices, lighting, and fixtures Understand residential circuits and how electrical systems are laid out Install switches, receptacles, light fixtures, fans, and other electrical devices Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing residential electrical problems Have a knowledge of the current National Electrical Code Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain work in a clear, respectful manner Maintain a clean and organized work area Take care of customers' homes and property while working Work safely and follow company procedures Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality Represent Grounded Electrical Services professionally on every job

Qualifications Required:

Minimum 1 years of residential electrical experience Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Basic troubleshooting ability Own basic hand and power tools needed for residential electrical work Ability to show up consistently, on time, and ready to work Ability to work well with others and follow direction Comfortable using basic technology and willing to learn new software and technology

Preferred:

Experience with both residential service and new construction Experience working directly with homeowners Commercial electrical experience Experience with Jobber or similar field-service software Experience with ADP or similar payroll/HR software Experience working toward more independent service work The Right Fit for Grounded We're not looking for someone who knows everything on day one.
