$90/day worked (Must Qualify) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations and new constructions, ensuring that all electrical installations meet the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes during installation and maintenance activities. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution. Perform low voltage and high voltage installations as required. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrician in both industrial and commercial environments. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical work. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Experience with renovation projects is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating strong teamwork skills. Knowledge of frame carpentry is beneficial for integrated project tasks. Maintenance Person experience is an asset, showcasing versatility in handling various maintenance tasks. Must possess a valid electrician's license or certification where applicable.
