Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and self-reliant Electrical Wireman/Journeyman who can independently wire residential homes and handle typical residential electrical work with minimal supervision. You will be expected to drive your own truck to job sites in and around Blanco, TX. Key Responsibilities Independently rough-in and finish wiring residential homes (new construction and remodels) to code without needing constant direction or assistance Install electrical systems including outlets, switches, lighting, panels, breakers, and related components Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and wiring diagrams Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Texas/Blanco County requirements Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate clearly with the owner regarding progress, materials needed, and any issues that arise Drive your own reliable truck to job sites (mileage or travel considerations can be discussed) Required Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a residential wireman/electrician with the ability to fully wire a house independently Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, NEC code, and safe work practices Ability to work alone and manage your time effectively on site Reliable personal truck/vehicle for travel to Blanco, TX and surrounding job sites Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical work required for residential electrical installation Willingness to work for a new/startup company and grow with it Honest, dependable, and professional attitude Preferred Qualifications Texas electrical license (or willingness to obtain if not already held) Experience with both new construction and remodel work Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and jobsite organization References from previous electrical employers or customers What We Offer Opportunity to be an early team member in a growing local company Direct communication and fair treatment from ownership Competitive pay based on skill and reliability Potential for increased responsibility and steady work as the company expands
