Overview Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Journeyman Electrician and play a vital role in maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems across industrial and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining electrical controls and wiring industrial plants or worksites to include but not limited to troubleshooting, and installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, installing and repairing wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. As a key contributor, you will utilize your extensive electrical experience to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency in all electrical work. Responsibilities Requirements Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Inspect and test electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify problems and make repairs as needed. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems. Working knowledge of conduit bend up to 4" and wire pulls. Install conduit for wiring. Working knowledge of electrical systems, machines and tool. Including their design, uses, repair and maintenance. Familiarity with National Electric Codes, electrical theory. Familiarity with high voltage three phase circuits up to 200 amps, generators, transformers and switch gear. Ability to use various testing devices related to electrical and mechanical trades. Answer emergency calls quickly, assess the safety of the situation upon first arriving at the scene and provide directions to individuals affected by the electrical emergency to ensure their continued safety and comfort. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
