- A large-scale data center construction project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is actively hiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians for long-term work. This is an excellent opportunity to join a mission-critical project offering competitive pay, consistent overtime, and daily per diem. - Key Responsibilities
- + Install, bend, and run EMT and rigid conduit + Pull wire and perform electrical terminations + Install switchgear, panels, lighting systems, and cable systems + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings + Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components + Work with low-voltage and medium-voltage systems + Support large-scale commercial and industrial electrical construction activities + Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC requirements, project specifications, and safety regulations + Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on site + Maintain accurate documentation of installations, testing, and system modifications •Qualifications•+ Active Journeyman Electrician License + Commercial and/or industrial electrical construction experience + Proficient in EMT and rigid conduit bending and installation + Experience with terminations, panel work, and power distribution systems + Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills + Experience on large-scale construction projects required + Data center experience preferred but not required •Accepted Reciprocal Licenses•Candidates must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician license from one of the following reciprocal states: + Alaska + Arkansas + Colorado + Minnesota + Montana + Nebraska + New Hampshire + North Dakota + Oklahoma + South Dakota + Texas + Wisconsin + Wyoming •Apply Today•If you're a licensed Journeyman Electrician looking for a high-paying, long-term opportunity with steady overtime, daily per diem, and the chance to work on a major data center project, apply today for immediate consideration.
