Job Description

Maintenance Electrician Henderson, TX Red River Brick, a premier brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S., is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support plant operations at our Henderson, Texas manufacturing facility. This role is critical to maintaining plant reliability through electrical, PLC, and automation system maintenance.
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and PLC-controlled systems throughout the plant. This position supports safe operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with maintenance and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems plant-wide Maintain and update electrical prints and ensure secure copies of all PLC programs are stored in both the electrical shop and main office Manage inventory and maintain adequate supply of electrical parts Perform mechanical repairs and fabrication as needed Design and create electrical control systems when required Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times Take on additional assignments as needed to support plant operations Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems plant-wide Maintain and update electrical prints and ensure secure copies of all PLC programs are stored in both the electrical shop and main office Manage inventory and maintain adequate supply of electrical parts Perform mechanical repairs and fabrication as needed Design and create electrical control systems when required Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times Take on additional assignments as needed to support plant operations
Education:
High school diploma or GED required Post-secondary technical training or equivalent preferred Electrical and PLC training preferred High school diploma or GED required Post-secondary technical training or equivalent preferred Electrical and PLC training preferred
Experience:
Five (5) years of electrical maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of PLCs strongly desired Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC-controlled, and automated manufacturing equipment Five (5) years of electrical maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of PLCs strongly desired Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC-controlled, and automated manufacturing equipment

Work Schedule:
Approximately 50 hours per week Flexibility to work any shift and hours based on operational needs
