Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota has an immediate need for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance technician. Join us! Industrial Electrician Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment. Work as a team member or independently to complete projects. Aptitude to troubleshoot complex electrical and logic problems. Observe and abide by safety procedures, policies, and electrical codes. Accurately interpret technical documents for proper execution of assignments. Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections. Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages; write code as needed. Moderate understanding of the mechanical and hydraulic processes; diagnose problems as needed.
Industrial Electrician Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 1-3 years heavy industrial electrical experience required. Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment. Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents. Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc. Able to work rotating shifts to meet the demands of production.
