Job Description

NOW HIRING CNC MACHINISTS & INSPECTORS
Texas Pipe Works - Navasota, Texas Texas Pipe Works (TPW) is currently seeking highly motivated, dependable, and talented individuals to join our team at our Navasota manufacturing facility. We currently have openings for CNC Machinists, and Inspectors on First and Second Shift.
CNC MACHINISTS
Position Responsibilities & Qualifications Produce machined parts by operating Mori Seiki CNC equipment while maintaining established quality and safety standards. Participate in inspection and testing activities to ensure parts are machined according to manufacturing standards and specifications. Maintain accurate and reliable production and quality documentation. Maintain equipment, tooling, and supplies as required. Must be mechanically inclined. Must be able to read and use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and stand-off gauges. Ability to understand measurements, specifications, and work instructions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous CNC machining or manufacturing experience is preferred.
QUALITY INSPECTORS
Position Responsibilities & Qualifications Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling of incoming materials, purchased parts, components, and manufactured products used in the oil and gas industry. Inspect purchased and manufactured parts according to established specifications and acceptance criteria using standard physical and mechanical measurements. Identify finished products requiring rework or rejection. Conduct and document process and system audits using established written procedures. Accurately document inspection and testing results. Maintain controlled documents, inspection reports, and test records in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor critical inspection equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration. Participate in the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to inspection activities. Assist with writing and updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists. Evaluate quality concerns and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action. Work closely with Production Management and Quality Assurance to provide feedback to CNC Operators and Machinists regarding product accuracy and quality requirements. Inspector Experience & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Good arithmetic skills. Mechanical aptitude preferred. 2+ years of Quality Control or Receiving Inspection experience preferred. Working knowledge of measurement and inspection instruments. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Hourly Rate:
