Work on a major data center new build in Barstow, Texas. Very strong pay, overtime at 1.5x, and daily workday per diem. Journeyman Electricians can earn approximately $4,200 to $4,410 per week and Electrical Apprentices can earn approximately $3,140 to $3,710 per week. Traveling Commercial Electrician

  • Job Duties You will perform hands on commercial electrical work on a data center new build, including: Perform and assist with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial electrical systems Run conduit, including 3/4" and 1" EMT Pull wire and complete electrical connections and terminations based on your experience level Perform layout and support electrical installations for a data center new build, including fire electrical Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, plans, wiring diagrams, and electrical diagrams Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems, equipment, and components Follow NEC requirements, project specifications, and job site safety protocols Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Transport and organize tools, materials, and electrical equipment as needed Journeyman Electricians will work independently with limited supervision and help direct and train Electrical Apprentices in the field Electrical Apprentices will work hands on alongside Journeyman Electricians and perform electrical work under appropriate supervision Traveling Commercial Electrician•You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit) You have: Prior experience performing hands on commercial or industrial electrical work Prior experience running EMT conduit, pulling wire, or performing commercial electrical installations Experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, plans, or wiring diagrams appropriate to your experience level Ability to perform physically demanding electrical construction work, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces Ability to successfully complete required pre employment background and drug screening For Journeyman Electricians, a valid Journeyman Electrician license and strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical regulations Able to work on site in Barstow Texas from September to end of 2026 You might have: Prior experience working on data center projects or other large scale commercial or industrial construction projects OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Prior experience with fire electrical installations For Journeyman Electricians, prior experience as a Lead Electrician or directing Electrical Apprentices Traveling Electrician•Benefits for You You will be hired as a W2 employee rather than an independent contractor, giving you access to company benefits including health insurance, paid holidays and benefit package.

After the current project concludes, there is an opportunity to keep traveling with the company and continue onto another project in New Mexico anticipated to last approximately 18 months. Traveling Journeyman Electrician pay range $45 to $48 per hour , plus overtime at 1.5x and daily workday per diem. Working six 10 hour days, your total earnings potential is approximately $4,200 to $4,410 per week , or approximately $218,000 to $229,000 annualized at that schedule. Traveling Electrical Apprentice pay range $32 to $38 per hour , plus overtime at 1.5x and daily workday per diem. Working six 10 hour days, your total earnings potential is approximately $3,140 to $3,710 per week .
