Gold Bond Building Products LLC - Rotan, TX Gold Bond Building Products LLC is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Industrial Electrician at our Rotan, TX facility. Job Summary The Industrial Electrician is a safety-sensitive position responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility. Safety is our top priority, and successful candidates will follow established safety procedures, job safety analyses, and electrical standards to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing 480-volt systems, motors, starters, PLCs, automation controls, industrial communication systems, environmental control systems, pumps, lighting systems, and other plant electrical equipment while supporting production and minimizing downtime. Essential Responsibilities Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Install, service, and repair electrical conduit, wiring, and fixtures. Conduct electrical inspections, testing, and troubleshooting. Install and maintain proper grounding for electrical systems. Service starters, motors, and 480-volt electrical systems. Perform electrical work on environmental control systems, pumps, and industrial lighting systems. Install, maintain, and repair heavy-duty equipment and industrial communication systems. Clean circuit boards and electrical contacts. Oil motors and replace wiring as needed. Troubleshoot and repair electrical components. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation controls. Maintain required records and communicate equipment issues to management. Follow all company safety and quality policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Participate in call-outs as needed. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Must successfully pass the Industrial Electrician Aptitude Test. PLC knowledge and programming experience preferred. Arc-Flash training preferred. Must live within a reasonable distance of the plant. Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to safely work around industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and climb stairs throughout the workday. Ability to occasionally climb ladders and work at elevated heights. Must be available to work overtime and respond to call-outs as business needs require. Team player with a positive attitude and strong commitment to safety. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (including cannabis testing) and criminal background check.
