Job Summary $120 PER DIEM We are seeking experienced Traveling Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our dynamic team for multiple projects across Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse industrial and commercial electrical systems, providing essential electrical services on various construction, renovation, and maintenance sites. As a traveling electrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical work while adhering to safety standards and local codes. Your expertise will ensure the successful completion of projects that meet client specifications and industry regulations, all while enjoying the flexibility of working across different locations. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems on multiple job sites throughout Texas. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system setups. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues efficiently. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and connections safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards. Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring, conduit installation, and system upgrades. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent state certification. Proven experience in industrial electrician work, including industrial electrical systems and high-voltage wiring. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Experience with troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Hands-on experience with commercial electrical systems, low voltage wiring, renovation projects, and construction site environments. Ability to travel extensively within Texas for project assignments; valid driver's license required. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and electrical wiring techniques efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship.
