Header Overview S3 General Construction is seeking an experienced Licensed Electrician to join our team for an upcoming large-scale renovation project and future construction work throughout the Texarkana area. We are looking for someone with strong commercial construction and renovation experience who can work effectively alongside project managers, subcontractors, and other trades. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, understands applicable electrical codes and safety requirements, and can troubleshoot and complete electrical work efficiently in active construction environments. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical systems as required on commercial construction and renovation projects. Install wiring, conduit, lighting, receptacles, switches, panels, circuits, and related electrical components. Read and interpret construction plans, electrical drawings, specifications, and schematics. Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs or modifications. Perform electrical upgrades and modifications associated with renovation and remodeling projects. Coordinate electrical work with S3 project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades. Identify materials, equipment, and electrical components needed to complete assigned work. Ensure work complies with the National Electrical Code, applicable state and local requirements, and project specifications. Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow applicable OSHA and company safety practices. Assist with planning electrical work and identifying potential issues before or during construction. Qualifications Current Texas Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician license required. Arkansas electrical license, dual Texas/Arkansas licensing, or eligibility for Arkansas licensing strongly preferred. Master Electrician license is highly desirable. Commercial construction and renovation experience preferred. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable electrical safety practices. Ability to read plans, specifications, electrical drawings, and schematics. Experience troubleshooting electrical systems using appropriate diagnostic equipment. Experience working with general contractors and coordinating work with other construction trades. Lead, foreman, or supervisory electrical experience is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Dependable attendance, professional communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
