Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our electrical team. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems and be able to perform safe, efficient, and code compliant installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role involves working on new construction, renovations, and electrical system upgrades. Strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints are required.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems in compliance with local codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and perform high-voltage wiring safely. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Follow OSHA safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment. Install PLCs and low-voltage systems for automation projects. Plan wiring layouts for new construction and renovation projects. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure successful project completion. Maintain accurate records of completed work for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications:
Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License. Minimum 3-5 years of electrical experience preferred. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Experience with commercial, industrial, or residential electrical installations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Preferred Skills Experience with service work, new construction, and remodel projects. Knowledge of low-voltage systems and controls. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
