Job Description

The City of Thorndale, TX is seeking a City Administrator who leads in navigating political governance, public expectations, organizational pressures, competing priorities and complex relationships while delivering essential services to the community. Our Type A, General Law City has 10+ employees and a population of over 1400 and growing. Thorndale is on the edge of a burgeoning manufacturing corridor along Hwy 79 in Central Texas. A successful candidate should have a proven management record of successful infrastructure projects, be able to show acquisition of grant funds for key projects and proof of regional relationships and their benefit to city projects.
