Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential electrical work, including the ability to read and interpret plans, the code book, and utilize hand tools effectively. This role involves residential service work and light commercial service in various settings, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial. Read and interpret plans, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Use hand tools and power tools to perform installations and repairs. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete renovation projects involving electrical work. Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations as well as NEC standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and installation techniques. Ability to read plans and technical documents accurately. Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
