Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in residential settings. Your expertise will help ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant electrical work on renovation projects, new constructions, and service upgrades. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while adhering to strict safety procedures and local electrical codes. Responsibilities Install and upgrade electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures in residential properties Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system issues using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools Perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures Follow all electrical safety procedures and local codes during installation and repair work Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects involving framing carpentry or handyman tasks when necessary Skills Proven experience as a residential electrician with knowledge of electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting Strong understanding of industrial and commercial electrical systems is a plus Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment Experience working on construction sites with renovation or new build projects Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high-voltage wiring, and industrial electrical systems is desirable Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently Commitment to following all safety procedures related to electrical work and construction environments Join us to be part of a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous learning.
