An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description

IBEW Local 666 is in need of Journeyman Electricians. State licensure is helpful but not required. Anyone who can document 6 years of experience in electrical construction may be eligible for Journeyman classification. Advancement to Foreman, General Foreman, and beyond possible for the right candidates. All of our classifications receive health insurance for the worker and their family, and generous retirement, at no out of pocket cost to the worker. We have jobs all around the Richmond area, mainly commercial and industrial, working many different schedules, with many different employers.
