Job Description
Duties may include:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install electrical components such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times Required experience for position:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an electrician in a residential setting
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in the trade
