Header Duties Install, inspect, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and local codes. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters, identifying root causes efficiently. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects involving industrial or commercial facilities. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure ongoing compliance with NFPA 70 standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring, conduit installation, circuit breaker replacements, and system upgrades. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project execution. Header Requirements Valid state-issued electrician license with a strong understanding of local electrical codes and safety procedures. Proven experience as a licensed electrician in industrial and commercial settings, including construction site experience. Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and familiarity with high-voltage electrical wiring practices. Ability to read electrical blueprints accurately and interpret schematics for complex systems installation or troubleshooting. Experience working with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure compliance during all phases of electrical work. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently under pressure. Physical capability to perform manual tasks involving hand tools, power tools, frame carpentry skills for conduit routing or structural support work. Construction or renovation experience preferred; handyman skills are a plus for versatile troubleshooting across different environments.
