You'll work directly with homeowners in their homes. Being able to communicate, solve problems, and provide exceptional service is just as important as your technical ability. What You'll Do As a Residential Service Electrician, you'll: Troubleshoot and diagnose residential electrical problems Perform residential electrical repairs, replacements, and installations Evaluate electrical systems and identify safety concerns Communicate directly with homeowners about what you find Explain solutions and provide options clearly and professionally Help customers make informed decisions about their homes Perform high-quality, code-compliant work Maintain accurate job documentation Take care of your company vehicle, tools, and equipment Participate in ongoing technical, safety, customer-service, and professional-development training You'll have a lot of responsibility because our customers are trusting you with their homes. Compensation & Benefits Most experienced electricians joining Kanon start around $40/hour , with starting pay based on experience, licensing, qualifications, and overall fit for the position. We believe strong performance should create opportunities for increased compensation. Pay is reviewed as technicians demonstrate proficiency and performance, and additional incentive compensation opportunities may be available. Many of our experienced technicians progress beyond their initial starting rate. At $40-$45/hour, annualized base earnings are approximately $83,000-$94,000 before additional incentives or overtime.

Who We're Looking For You'll likely thrive at Kanon if you: Hold the appropriate Washington electrical license for the position Have residential electrical troubleshooting and service experience Take pride in high-quality workmanship Enjoy working directly with homeowners Communicate clearly and professionally Are dependable and accountable Appreciate clear expectations Are receptive to coaching and want to continue improving Take safety seriously Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Are comfortable using tablets, mobile devices, and basic computer applications Can perform the essential physical functions of residential electrical work, with or without reasonable accommodation Technical ability is important. Character, communication, and professionalism matter too. Safety-Sensitive Position This position is designated as safety-sensitive due to the nature of the work, including working on and around electrical systems, operating company vehicles, using tools and equipment, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
