An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Field first. Client focused. Haggard Electric's North Central Washington branch is growing, and we're looking for a residential apprentice who's almost there — a trainee with a couple of years of hours under their belt who can already run residential work and is getting ready to test for their (02) Residential card. We're not hiring a helper. We're hiring our next (02) Journeyman early.
Hours:
Monday-Friday, Days We work hard and have fun doing it at our multiple job sites located around Orondo/Wenatchee Valley. Come join us and watch your career take off! The Work —
  • New-construction single-family homes and custom builds
  • Multi-family projects — apartments, condos, ADUs
  • Remodels, panel changes, and service upgrades
  • Residential service calls and troubleshooting (with a journeyman in your corner)
  • Pools, hot tubs, and spas — bonding, GFCI protection, and equipment hookups
  • Landscape and outdoor wiring — low-voltage lighting, exterior circuits, water features What You'll Do
  • Run residential work nearly independently — layout, rough-in, trim, and inspections — under a certified electrician per L&I supervision rules
  • Bend and run conduit — EMT and PVC, clean and plumb
  • Troubleshoot like a journeyman: find the problem, not just the symptom
  • Log your hours — we verify and sign off your experience so nothing you earn here gets lost
  • Knock out your remaining requirements and sit the (02) exam
  • Represent Haggard on site — homeowners and inspectors should be glad it's you who showed up What You Need
  • Current Washington Electrical Trainee (ET) certificate in good standing with L&I
  • Roughly 2+ years of supervised residential hours — at or near what you need to test for the (02) Residential
  • Current on your required trainee classroom education
  • Able to genuinely run the work above — rough-in through trim — with a journeyman nearby, not holding your hand
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job
  • Own hand tools; show up on time, every time The Path Finish your hours with us → we sign off your experience → you pass the (02) exam → you step into a Haggard journeyman seat: That's the plan on day one.
