Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our Commercial Solutions team in the Fox Valley area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial electrical systems, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings including retail, office, healthcare, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical code specifications Run conduit, pull wire, and install fixtures, panels, switches, and outlets Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC) Collaborate with other trades and project managers to meet deadlines Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment Mentor apprentices and assist in training less experienced electricians Experience Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician Familiarity with high voltage systems and low voltage applications Strong background in electrical work with hands-on experience in construction site environments Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience working with various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Knowledge of renovation processes related to electrical installations
Qualifications:
Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial electrical work Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Proficient in using hand and power tools related to electrical work OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
