Job Description

Maintenance Electrician De Pere | $28.00-$42.00/hr (DOE) | Full-Time | 7am-7pm or 7pm - 7am About the Role We are seeking experienced Maintenance Electricians to support manufacturing operations throughout Northeast Wisconsin. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys diagnosing equipment issues, minimizing downtime, and keeping production running safely and efficiently. As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll work with industrial equipment, electrical systems, and automated machinery to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical problems, and complete repairs. Candidates with an electrical certification or formal electrical training are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipment Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment Diagnose electrical faults using meters, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Install and troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, relays, and control systems Support machine startups, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement projects Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Work closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime Required Qualifications Electrical certification, Industrial Electrician certificate, Electrical Technician diploma, Journeyman Electrician license, or equivalent formal electrical training Previous industrial maintenance or maintenance electrician experience Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems Knowledge of 120V, 240V, and 480V electrical systems Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment Preferred Qualifications Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment Familiarity with VFDs, servo motors, and motor controls Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Welding or fabrication experience Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs Forklift or aerial lift certification
