Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily problem solving and repair of robotic, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and controls related issues associated with manufacturing/facility operations. Install and repair electrical systems and electrical components on industrial machinery and in factory settings. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of machinery, electrical systems, and equipment. Diagnose issues with electrical systems, identify solutions, and implement corrective actions quickly. Work with a team to ensure that production lines run efficiently with minimal downtime. Perform inspections, tests, and adjustments to maintain equipment compliance with safety and operational standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Follows established procedures, processes, or policies, but is expected to use judgment in resolving issues or recommending solutions.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
6+ years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical/maintenance, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
Skills:
Preferred experience on equipment and automation consistent with a metal fabrication, paint, and assembly operation. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery wiring, PLCs, VFDs, and control systems. Ability to work from drawings, sketches, and blueprints. Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and machine specifications. Intermediate PC knowledge. Ability to acquire and maintain certifications for operation of service equipment.
Education/Certifications:
A technical, Associates Degree or certificate in a maintenance related field
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
Team Player:
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Safety-Conscious:
Strong commitment to following safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
Training:
Ability to train apprentices.
Preferred:
