Work on low voltage systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), control panels, and other automation devices. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NEC (National Electrical Code), and industry best practices during installation and maintenance activities. Requirements Valid Journeyman Electrician license with proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work. Extensive experience working with industrial electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, and commercial electrical systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards, local electrical codes, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Hands-on experience with high voltage installations, low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and control systems. Familiarity with construction site procedures, renovation projects, framing carpentry skills are a plus. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow detailed blueprints for precise installation or repairs.
