The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing project plans, preparing accurate estimates, and supporting office operations. This position requires strong technical skills in reading commercial blueprints and a collaborative mindset to assist with billing and organizational tasks. Design experience is highly valued and considered a plus. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret architectural plans and specifications for commercial projects, including office buildings, restaurants, and banks, to generate precise millwork estimates. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify details and refine estimates as needed. Support office organization by managing documentation, scheduling, and inventory tracking to ensure smooth operations. Contribute to design discussions and provide input on millwork feasibility when applicable. Required Qualifications Proven experience as an estimating assistant or in a similar role within the construction or woodworking industry. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or associate degree in construction management, drafting, or related field preferred. Preferred Skills Knowledge of commercial construction standards and materials specific to millwork. Strong organizational and communication skills to enhance office efficiency. Ability to help with production on larger projects or heavier workload is a plus.

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
