EXPERIENCED

Masonry Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for our masonry projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in reading blueprints, understanding project specifications, and preparing competitive bids. Call Daniel at (720) 218-9434 or

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PRIOR MASONRY ESTIMATING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.

Project Evaluation:

Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand the scope of work, materials required, and project timelines.

Quantity Takeoff:

Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for concrete materials, including bricks, blocks, concrete, rebar, and other related products.

Cost Estimation:

Calculate material costs, labor costs, equipment expenses, and overheads to prepare comprehensive project estimates.

Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination:

Obtain quotes with material suppliers, subcontractors, and other service providers to ensure competitive pricing.

Value Engineering:

Identify opportunities for cost savings through value engineering techniques while maintaining project requirements and quality standards.

Risk Assessment:

Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with the project and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Communication:

Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment throughout the estimation process.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a masonry estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to masonry and concrete construction.
