Construction Sales Estimator - MSB Disaster Recovery Services is a well-established contracting and restoration company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Greater Los Angeles and Ventura County. Position Overview We are seeking a Construction Sales Estimator who understands how buildings go together but is equally skilled at building client relationships and converting opportunities into signed contracts. This is not a traditional project management role. Seeking candidates who will identify opportunities, meet with clients, develop scopes and estimates, and secure projects for our production team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction and estimating but also enjoys meeting new people, developing relationships, and helping clients move forward with their projects.

You will work closely with our Senior Estimator and Production Team to ensure accurate scopes and smooth handoff once projects are under contract. Key Responsibilities Meet with property owners, property managers, and adjusters to evaluate potential projects Conduct job walks and site inspections Prepare detailed scopes of work and project estimates for residential and commercial reconstruction Develop accurate project budgets and confidently present and support estimate pricing with clients, adjusters, internal teams, and other relevant parties Present estimates and proposals to clients and guide them through the contracting process Convert sales opportunities into signed contracts Develop and maintain long-term client relationships Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth transition from contract to project execution Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the pre-construction process What We're Looking For 5+ years experience in construction estimating Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction Ability to confidently discuss construction scopes, materials, and project approaches with clients Experience meeting directly with clients and closing projects Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously Experience in restoration, reconstruction, insurance repair, or property damage projects is a plus Experience with insurance coverages and claims preferred Experience with Xactimate Software is preferred Candidates with an existing network or book of business are encouraged to apply Why Join MSB Work with a respected restoration and reconstruction company Join a collaborative and experienced team Opportunity to grow professionally in both estimating and client development Dynamic role that includes field work, client interaction, and estimating Direct impact on company growth and project pipeline
