Local candidates only Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Jr. Estimator to join our team in Fairfield. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in estimating and construction. The ideal candidate isanized,fortablemunicating with customers and internal teams, and eager to learn the estimating process. A background in construction is helpful, and experience with demolition is a strong plus, but it is not required. A degree is not necessary for this position. We are primarily looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and willing to learn. Responsibilities Assist with preparing estimates, proposals, and project documentation Review project plans, specifications, and customer requests to help develop accurate estimates Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams as needed Assist with gathering project information, pricing, and material costs Maintainanized records of estimates, proposals, and related documentation Respond to customer emails and phone calls in a professional and timely manner Support senior estimators with project research and estimating activities Develop an understanding of construction and demolition processes, materials, and costs Follow up on estimates and assist with tracking opportunities Perform other estimating and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Strongmunication and customer service skills Comfortable using email and basicputer applications Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to learn quickly and work well independently and as part of a team Professional and confident whenmunicating with customers Construction experience is preferred; demolition experience is a plus Previous estimating experience is helpful but not required No college degree required Must be local to the Fairfield area Ideal Candidate This position is a great fit for someone who may be early in their career and wants to get into construction estimating.
