Job Description

Position Overview Schatz Construction is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator & Sales Representative to join our growing remodeling company. This role blends technical estimating with relationship-driven sales. You will be responsible for managing incoming leads, preparing accurate project estimates, presenting proposals to clients, and closing deals. We're looking for someone who can confidently move a project from first contact to signed contract while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and strong communication throughout. Key Responsibilities Respond to and follow up on inbound leads in a timely manner Proactively call and nurture leads to generate new business Conduct site visits and gather project details as needed Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates Present estimates and proposals clearly to clients Negotiate pricing and close sales Maintain and update all customer interactions in the CRM system Track pipeline activity and manage opportunities through the sales cycle Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure smooth handoffs Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals Qualifications Experience in construction, estimating, or a related field required Sales experience with a proven ability to close deals Strong understanding of construction processes and pricing (or willingness to learn quickly) Experience with estimating software and CRM systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Benefits Company vehicle Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Retirement plan Paid holidays Paid time off
