Job Description

On-Site Property Manager — Reimagined Housing on Main Street (Lodi, CA) Domus Management Company is seeking a dedicated On-Site Property Manager to oversee operations at Reimagined Housing on Main Street , a newly rehabilitated building in downtown Lodi. This community is slated to open in March - April 2026. We are searching for a Property Manager now, who will begin when the construction is completed and we are ready to move participants into the building. This community is part of a transitional housing initiative designed to provide a stable, supportive environment for homeless or at-risk individuals as they work toward permanent housing. Partnering with San Joaquin Behavioral Health , participants will receive wraparound supportive services aimed at achieving long-term stability and self-sufficiency. The property features 40 studio units and one 4-bedroom, 1.5-bath single-family home. All participants are referred by BHS and/or other dedicated agencies, and may stay up to 24 months while transitioning toward independence. This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate, experienced Property Manager who wants to make a lasting impact in the Lodi community. Position Overview We are looking for a hands-on, service-oriented Property Manager who can live on-site and effectively manage all aspects of property operations while fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and staff. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in Affordable Housing Property Management Minimum 2 years of experience with HUD Project-Based Vouchers Minimum 2 years of experience in Social Services, Behavioral Health, or related field Strong Property Management background required Experience working with homeless or at-risk populations is a plus Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Friendly, professional, and approachable personality Ability to collaborate with service providers and handle diverse personalities Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and attention to detail Ability to oversee all operational tasks efficiently Daily Responsibilities Provide daily interaction & communication with residents, case workers, and staff Process move-ins, move-outs, lease violations, and related documentation Complete required reports and maintain compliance with deadlines Manage accounts receivable/payable and monitor outstanding balances Collaborate with BHS and other service partners to support resident success Schedule and oversee maintenance requests and vendor work Conduct unit inspections and annual reviews Maintain property curb appeal and cleanliness of common areas Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws Perform all aspects of property management with professionalism and empathy
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Housing:
Rent-free, on-site 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment
Paid Time Off:
Includes 20 days total for personal and sick leave (combined)
