Estimator Salary Rate:

$150,000 - $200,000 My client is a top civil construction contractor who are looking for estimators located around any of their west coast offices to join their growing team. We are looking for an estimator with 3+ years of civil construction experience with experience with large earthwork projects and federal experience. If that sounds like you, lets connect.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret project blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately. Utilize computerized bidding systems proficiently to streamline processes. Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and cost information. Coordinate pre-construction meetings and support project teams. Maintain profitability standards and company goals consistently. Attend company meetings and lead departmental meetings as required. Handle customer requests professionally and promptly. Manage business development activities and contract negotiations. Follow up diligently on submitted proposals and prioritize bidding efforts. Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Promote safety practices and compliance on job sites.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred. 3+ years of civil construction estimating experience Demonstrated track record of consistently securing profitable project awards. Strong knowledge of excavating, equipment, and materials.
