Job Description

Job Summary A leading electrical contractor in Ventura County is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Clarita, CA. This role is ideal for a seasoned estimating professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex commercial and industrial electrical construction bids from early conceptual budgeting through final proposal submission. The Electrical Estimator will support high-profile projects across Southern California, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, mixed-use, and institutional facilities. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and competitive electrical cost estimates for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, mixed-use, and institutional construction projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to develop complete proposal packages.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Develop conceptual budgets, value engineering options, negotiated proposals, hard bids, and design-build estimates.
  • Analyze project risks, constructability, schedules, scope gaps, and bid strategy to support profitable project awards.
  • Partner with project managers, field operations, leadership, clients, general contractors, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the estimating and handoff process. Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $125,000 to $180,000 per year.
