Job Description

EXPERIENCED ASPHALT SALESMAN/ESTIMATOR
Advantage Unlimited Paving, Yucaipa, CA Advantage Unlimited Paving is looking for an experienced Asphalt Salesman/Estimator.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Five or more years of estimating experience in asphalt paving, concrete, grading, site work, or closely related self-perform construction.
  • The ability to take a bid from plans or quantities all the way to a finished proposal on your own.
  • Familiarity with the Southern California paving market and a solid track record of building and keeping customer relationships.
  • Comfort with digital takeoff and estimating software, spreadsheets, and staying organized across multiple active bids.
  • Good written and verbal communication and the ability to travel to site walks and customer meetings around Southern California.
NICE TO HAVE

  • Public-works estimating experience, prevailing-wage and DIR knowledge, Greenbook or Caltrans experience, and familiarity with sourcing and comparing regional vendor and subcontractor quotes.

Advantage Unlimited Paving is a Yucaipa-based contractor serving Southern California since 1998. Our work includes grading, asphalt, concrete, pavement maintenance, striping, and ADA site improvements.
