Electrical Estimator

Position Summary The Electrical Estimator plays a key role in the successful planning and execution of electrical construction projects. This position is responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates and works closely with project managers, vendors and field teams to support preconstruction efforts from bid to handoff. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and large residential electrical projects Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope of work Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor and material pricing Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes Identify potential risks, gaps and value engineering opportunities Collaborate with project managers and field teams during preconstruction Maintain organized estimate files and documentation Assist with bid submissions and post-bid follow-up as needed Requirements 2+ years of electrical estimating experience preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office McCormick estimating software experience preferred Knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and current codes and standards This is a great opportunity for an estimator looking to grow with a team that values collaboration, quality work and long-term success.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
