Senior Mechanical Estimator The Judge Group - 3.6 Fort Collins, CO Job Details Full-time $165,000 - $180,000 a year 2 hours ago Qualifications Oil & gas Estimating construction project budgets Pipeline Full Job Description The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator with experience managing projects in the Midstream Oil and Gas market with project scope from 2 million to 35 million dollars. Deliver accurate estimates, reduce project risk, and help the company secure profitable, buildable work.
COMPENSATION
165k to 180k plus bonus
LOCATION
Onsite position located in Fort Collins, CO
MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (Will consider 5+ years in an estimating role)
MUST HAVE
Experience managing projects in the Midstream Oil and Gas market with project scope from 2 million to 35 million dollars
MUST HAVE
5+ years estimating experience in the Midstream Oil & Gas industry.
MUST HAVE
Proven experience estimating pipelines, facilities, and terminals.
MUST HAVE
Professional certifications such as AACEI CEP, PMP, or ASPE preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create accurate mechanical estimates from bid documents for piping, mechanical, welding, equipment setting, and facility work Prepare detailed material and labor takeoffs Interpret drawings, verify constructability, utilize vendor quotes, foresee risks and scope gaps Ensure accurate pricing Manage multiple bids Maintains disciplined estimating practices Update cost data, and supports project teams Perform detailed takeoffs for piping, welding, equipment, valves, structural components Prepare labor build-ups Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks Identify risks, assumptions, exclusions Coordinate with project managers, engineering, and field teams Prepare estimate summaries Maintain cost data, unit rates Support conceptual, budgetary, and FEL-level estimates
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related Will consider 5+ years in an estimating role Proficiency in mechanical takeoff methods for piping, welding, equipment, and structural components Proficiency estimating software such as Harbor Estimator, (InEight, HeavyBid, etc.) Very strong Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, modeling) Like to have; JD Edwards experience (cost codes), Power BI for estimating KPIs., Familiarity with construction scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project) AACEI CEP, PMP, or ASPE preferred #JDP By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
