This role involves reviewing specifications and CAD drawings, preparing accurate estimates and proposals, calculating materials and hardware, and providing responsive customer service. Review CAD files, AutoCAD drawings, and technical specifications to determine material dimensions and hardware requirements.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of materials (BOMs), quotes, and sales proposals.
Calculate material quantities, measurements, unit conversions, and project costs.
Respond to customer questions regarding quotes, project details, and order-related concerns when sales representatives are unavailable.
Communicate customer feedback and project updates to manufacturing and production teams.
Monitor lead times and coordinate rush orders when needed.
Assist with project coordination for major accounts by tracking timelines, identifying potential issues, and communicating recommendations.
Create installation instructions, project documentation, and other customer-specific materials using CAD software as needed.
Maintain accurate project records, estimates, and related documentation.
