• Primo CarpentryPosition Overview Primo Carpentry is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to support our bidding and project planning process.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a strong, transferable skill set in construction estimating. We are willing to train the right candidate and provide hands-on guidance throughout the learning process. Key Responsibilities Review construction drawings and project specifications Perform quantity takeoffs for carpentry scope of work Assist in preparing and organizing project bids and proposals Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for cost tracking and estimates Communicate with team members to clarify scope and project requirements Organize bid documents, plans, and project files Support the estimating process from initial review to final submission Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in computers, especially Microsoft Excel Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (or willingness to learn quickly) Strong attention to detail Good communication and problem-solving skills Self-motivated and dependable Preferred (Not Required) Some experience in construction or estimating Familiarity with takeoff software (Bluebeam, Planswift, etc.) OSHA 10 certification What We Offer Hands-on training and mentorship Opportunity to learn a valuable, in-demand skill Growth potential within the company Supportive and fast-paced work environment
