This role is an essential part of our irrigation department, combining estimating, plan analysis, and project coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of deadlines, and brings both technical accuracy and strong organizational skills to the team. Key Responsibilities Review irrigation and landscape plans to understand scope of work Perform detailed quantity irrigation take-offs Develop accurate cost estimates including (materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors) Request, track, and evaluate vendor pricing Prepare and submit professional proposals and bid documents Maintain bid calendar and track/addendums and follow-ups Organize project documentation for awarded and pending Support Project Managers and site supervisors with material ordering, change orders, and close-out documentation Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet high volume and critical deadline periods Qualifications Experience with irrigation systems or irrigation estimating preferred Ability to read and interpret construction/irrigation plans Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software Familiarity with GPS/GIS mapping software preferred Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and digital take-off skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance PTO & Paid Holidays Company-paid Life Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Winterberry Irrigation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
