Job Description Job Description Job Description This is a full-time, in-office role for a Construction Estimator with experience in residential, commercial and ground up construction, including restaurant and Tenant Improvement (TI) work. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects, reviewing plans and specifications, preparing material and labor takeoffs, and obtaining and comparing subcontractor and supplier pricing. Responsibilities include reviewing project plans, drawings, and scopes of work; preparing detailed cost estimates and proposals; coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers; tracking material and labor costs; identifying potential cost issues or discrepancies; and supporting the project management team throughout the estimating and pre-construction process. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple estimates and deadlines, and has a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project costs. Qualifications Previous experience in construction estimating, preferably in residential and/or commercial construction. Ability to read and understand construction plans, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. Experience preparing material and labor takeoffs. Experience requesting, reviewing, and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotes. Strong understanding of construction materials, labor costs, and construction processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word. Proficient in Project Management and ConstructionConnect.
